Right now, Paul George is known as one of the most important parts of the Los Angeles Clippers.
But this is actually the third team he has played for.
For years, George was also regarded as one of the most crucial features of the Indiana Pacers, which was the team he was drafted by in the 2010 NBA Draft.
Since leaving the Pacers, George has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder and now the Clippers.
Speaking on his Podcast P show, George spoke about the reaction he gets when returning to Indiana.
He admitted that he doesn’t receive the warmest welcome but that doesn’t mean there is love lost between him and the Pacers.
“They boo me because at the end of the day it’s love. I still got love there. I hung banners there. I’ll always be grateful for the time that I was there,” George said.

To be clear, George and the Pacers never won a championship together so the banners he was referring to must have been ones they claimed when winning their division.
During his time with the Pacers, George averaged 18.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists on a 43.2% field goal percentage.
George earned four All-Star appearances and was easily one of the most important players on that roster.
But throughout his tenure with the Pacers, numerous other teams were eager to steal George away, seeing him as an up-and-coming talent.
Eventually, he decided to part ways with the Pacers and move to the Thunder, where he again went on to lead the team.
Currently, he does receive a mixed response from Indiana crowds, to put it gently.
But no one can deny that he did some incredible work while starting his career with the Pacers.
