The New England Patriots are heading into a new era with the storied franchise moving on from legendary head coach Bill Belichick after 24 seasons, and the team is determined to right the ship sooner rather than later.
With Belichick being let go, the Patriots have turned to Jerod Mayo to lead the way on the sideline, who has the tall task of being Belichick’s successor and getting this team back on track in the AFC.
The first order of business for the Patriots was addressing the quarterback position, with the team trading Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars and bringing back a familiar face in veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Although the team might not be done tweaking the quarterback position, as they could draft a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, New England has gotten to work to upgrade the receiving corps with the team recently signing wideout K.J. Osborn, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Although Osborn isn’t a superstar at the position like his former teammate Justin Jefferson, he’s still a talented player who could take his game to another level with a change of scenery in New England.
Last season, Osborn caught 48 passes for 540 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Osborn joins a receiving corps that includes Kendrick Bourne, DeMario Douglas, and JuJu Smith-Schuster, which could be a formidable group if Brissett can get the job done as the leader under center for Mayo.
