Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp recently revealed that the team was looking to trade him and that he didn’t want to leave.
There have been many rumors and suggestions as far as where Kupp, an All-Pro and Super Bowl MVP, could be headed.
The New England Patriots are looking to build a winner from the ground up after going 4-13 this season, and they’re one team that is rumored to be in the hunt.
Patriots insider Greg A. Bedard initially was against pursuing Kupp but he’s now on board.
“How do the Patriots not bring in a guy like that? … The value that he could bring to Drake Maye,” Bedard said, via Patriots on CLNS Media.

Bedard mentioned some compliments Andrew Whitworth, a former Rams offensive lineman, gave Kupp as far as how he sees the game and his leadership.
Kupp also played a central role in Puka Nacua becoming a star over the past two seasons by teaching his teammate how to play wide receiver at a high level in the NFL.
Kupp led the league with 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns in 2021 while helping the Rams win the Super Bowl, and though he has remained productive since, he hasn’t come close to duplicating that season.
He has had some injuries and is 31 years old, but he should have a couple of solid seasons left for whichever team ends up trading for him this offseason.
