Mahomes is coming off a season where he garnered both league and Super Bowl MVP awards.
Since he entered the league, Mahomes has been seen as one of the league’s elites, and many already consider him to be a lock for the Hall of Fame.
Last season, Mahomes achieved career-highs in passing yards and completion percentage.
He also led the league in passing yards, yards per game, and passing touchdowns.
Now, he has been recognized by his peers as the league’s best, sharing the top-five spotlight with Travis Kelce.
Kelce is widely viewed as the league’s best tight end.
Will this duo live up to the constant hype, proving once again that they are a force to be reckoned with in the AFC?
Mahomes injured his ankle during last year’s playoffs, which was an initial cause for concern.
At this point, it appears that all is well, as he’s been healthy throughout training camp.
If he remains healthy, many believe that the Chiefs are a lock to win the AFC West again.
