Few people imagined Patrick Beverley being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Even just a few weeks ago, most fans didn’t see Beverley coming west.
But the Lakers made that move and now Beverley is officially a Los Angeles Laker, marking his fourth team in the league throughout 10 years.
Woke up a Laker!!! 💜💛🙏🏾 Its On!!!

Some LA fans might not be happy about Beverley in LA, the player seems totally on board with the idea.
Beverley tweeted, “Woke up a Laker!!! It’s On!!!” with some purple and gold emojis.
What does Beverley bring to the team and is he a real part of the team’s rebuild?
Beverley Comes To LA
Throughout his career, Beverley has averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
During the 2021-22 season, those numbers were 9.2, 4.1, and 4.6.
Those aren’t the biggest numbers in the game but they can obviously come in handy.
Beverley might not be seen as a starter for the Lakers but rather a bench player who will assist the team and give other guys, such as LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, chances to rest.
Beverley comes with a lot of baggage due to his outspoken personality, attitude, and in-your-face demeanor.
He has said harsh things about nearly every superstar in the league including Kevin Durant and, yes, James himself.
But now he will make nice and try to help the team get back on track.
Ironically, Beverley was actually drafted by the Lakers back in 2009, although he never played in purple and gold.
He did, however, travel around the league and play for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Now it’s time for him to return to LA and remind fans what he’s capable of.
