The New York Jets will kick off their season with a Monday Night Football showdown with the Buffalo Bills, and it’s been forever since the fans were so excited about Jets football.
Aaron Rodgers’ arrival in the Big Apple has instantly made them one of the biggest and strongest contenders in today’s game.
And while Rodgers wasn’t at his best last season, he was still one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
That’s why former Indianapolis Colts punter and current media star Pat McAfee believes we haven’t seen the best of him yet, and he said on ESPN’s “Get Up” that Rodgers is going to have one of his best seasons.

Rodgers will have a plethora of playmakers at his disposal, so there’s a chance he lives up to this prediction.
Also, he’s looked ecstatic ever since he arrived in New York City, and it had been a long while since we saw him this excited and happy ahead of the start of a season.
The Jets have an elite defense that’ll give him plenty of help, and even though his offensive line will be a recurring issue for most of the campaign, this roster has almost everything it needs to perform at the highest level.
They almost made the playoffs last season despite having one of the worst possible quarterback situations in the league.
So, even though they still need to prove themselves and live up to the expectations, it would be very hard to bet against an inspired Rodgers with elite weapons.
