There is no doubt that the Toronto Raptors have not been as successful as they wanted this season.
The team is currently ninth in the East and will have to fight their way through the play-in games in order to get to the postseason.
When the season started, many fans expected more from the Raptors.
A lot hasn’t gone right for Toronto but one aspect of the team has been stellar: Pascal Siakam.
The two-time All-Star has been a unit in 2022-23, averaging 24.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
According to StatMuse, Siakam leads his team in both total points and rebounds this season.

This is Siakam’s seventh year in the NBA and it might be his most impressive one yet.
He is scoring more than ever before and is also creating more assists than he ever has.
This shows what a crucial part of the team he has become.
Siakam has been spoken of as a potential Defensive Player of the Year winner.
If he were to earn that honor, it would join a few others, such as his two All-Star appearances, two spots on the All-NBA teams, a 2018-19 Most Improved Player of the Year award, and his championship win from 2019.
Siakam is such a terrific player that some people are wondering how much longer he will remain with the Raptors.
With his level of talent on the rise, he would bring Toronto a huge return if he were to be traded.
He has stayed very loyal to the team since being drafted by them in 2016.
But Raptors fans are nervous that his days in the north might be coming to an end if the Raptors can’t turn things around soon.
