The 2023 season didn’t go according to plan for the Carolina Panthers.
Despite using the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft to select Bryce Young, the Panthers still had the worst record in the league.
The Panthers have a lot of work to do if they want to find greater success in the 2024 season.
While the Panthers try to get things figured out on the field, it appears that they are also looking to remodel the stadium, hoping to improve their exterior look as well.
As Dov Kleiman recently shared on Twitter, David Tepper, the team’s owner, is asking for $650 million from the city of Charlotte to help fix the stadium.

Kleiman also pointed out the fact that the Panthers have never had back-to-back winning seasons in team history, which might not help their case in getting this money.
There has been talk of the Panthers potentially moving from Charlotte, especially if they don’t get the necessary funding to upgrade their stadium.
When the on-field talent is suboptimal, if a team has a nice stadium, it can help the fan experience, potentially allowing them to forget about what the team is doing.
However, if there are problems with the stadium itself, the team’s issues can be amplified, making fans that much more frustrated.
It will be interesting to see what the next few years look like for the Panthers.
If they can turn things around on the field, they just might be able to get the stadium renovations they are looking for.
