It’s no secret that the Carolina Panthers are looking for their next quarterback.
They believe that Sam Darnold isn’t the answer they were looking for.
Therefore, their first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft will likely be devoted to a play-caller.
However, they haven’t decided which quarterback prospect to pick because no one has separated himself from the pack.
Each aspirant has its strengths and weaknesses, making it more challenging to choose.
The Panthers are under pressure to get this pick right. and they are doing everything they can to make the best decision.
Jordan Schultz shared the quarterbacks that Carolina invited for a visit.

Schultz tweeted that Ole Miss’ Matt Corral, Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder, and Liberty’s Malik Willis are visiting the Panthers.
The team attended their pro days, and one of them could be the first quarterback drafted in 2022.
Comparing Corral, Ridder, and Willis
Corral is the Panthers’ best option if they want the traditional pocket passer.
In 2021, the California native became Second-Team All-SEC after tallying 3,343 yards and 20 touchdowns.
He also added 11 rushing touchdowns for 614 yards.
Meanwhile, Ridder won AAC Offensive Player of the Year after having 30 passing and six rushing touchdowns.
Ridder may have more touchdowns than Corral, but the quality of opposition is a significant consideration.
On the other hand, Willis is built in the mold of Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson.
He had 2,857 yards and 28 passing touchdowns in his final year at Liberty.
However, he also had 197 rushing attempts for 878 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Carolina’s decision will rely heavily on the system that offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo would like to implement.
Christian McCaffrey‘s health will also come into play when it’s time for them to choose from these quarterbacks.
