The Carolina Panthers have been the worst team in the NFL this season.
They have earned every bit of that 1-8 record.
It has been a tough go of things in Carolina because their roster is not good.
After securing Bryce Young with the first overall pick, many people hoped the Panthers could be competitive.
But, their lack of skill players and a good offensive line has caused this offense nothing but issues.
Young has no time to throw the ball and it has hurt his development.
It may be time for some type of coaching change within the offense.
The Panthers started the year with Frank Reich calling plays, then switched to offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.
Jonathan Jones said on Twitter how Reich might be looking to reclaim play-calling duties.
Panthers head coach Frank Reich tells reporters there won't be any staff changes, but he hesitates to say whether OC Thomas Brown will continue to call offensive plays. "I have not totally dialed that in," Reich says. Still evaluating.

The offense has been a disaster no matter who is calling the plays.
But, their recent Thursday night performance was abysmal.
Facing a bad Chicago Bears defense, the Panthers were only able to muster 13 points and 213 yards of offense.
Reich needs to decide who will call plays and stick with them.
Jumping back and forth to play-callers is not helping the development of his rookie quarterback.
The worst part about this whole situation is that the Panthers do not own their first-round pick.
So even if they finish with the worst record in the league they will not be able to select someone who can help them.
The Panthers mortgaged their future to trade up and select Young, now they must develop him into a franchise quarterback.
