In just a matter of days, the San Diego Padres have completely transformed their roster and now are serious World Series contenders.
On Monday, they acquired left-hander Josh Hader from the Milwaukee Brewers in a trade that shocked the entire world.
On Tuesday, the day of the trade deadline, they acquired Juan Soto and Josh Bell from the Washington Nationals.
Now, the Padres look ready to contend for their first World Series since 1998.
Jake Cronenworth seems to be happy about the Padres new acquisitions and says he likes the vibe of the club.
After last night’s victory over the Colorado Rockies, Cronenworth commented on the atmosphere and said that it was the best he had ever seen it since he joined the Padres.
Jake Cronenworth, after tonight's win at Petco Park: "Since I've been a Padre, that was probably the best atmosphere I've ever seen."

Good Vibes In San Diego
Cronenworth is now one of the seasoned veterans on this Padres team, so when he says that the vibe is as good as it’s ever been, that means that something good is coming for this ballclub.
In just a matter of days, they completely transformed their roster and turned themselves into World Series favorites.
Imagine how things will be once Fernando Tatis Jr. comes back.
A lineup that features Soto, Bell, Tatis, and Manny Machado is going to look unstoppable and will make any pitcher think twice about leaving them a good pitch to hit.
The best thing about this lineup is that you have to pitch to everybody because of who comes next.
Even beyond the four sluggers, the Padres have a deep lineup, with Cronenworth being one of the key pieces in that starting nine.
The final two months of the season are going to be fun for fans out in San Diego.
