The Green Bay Packers have one of the best defenses in the NFL.
However, even good things can be better.
That’s why insider Andy Herman wants them to make the most of their Week 7 matchup against a potential trade target, Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell.
“Packers/Cardinals is all about beating the Cardinals so they become sellers at the deadline so the Packers can then trade for Calais Campbell and bolster their DT rotation while giving Campbell a chance to win a Super Bowl at the end of his career,” Herman wrote on X.

Granted, Campbell is 39 years old and may be playing his final NFL season.
Yet, he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.
The Packers bolstered their pass rush by adding one of the most dynamic defenders in the game in Micah Parsons.
That’s the type of move a team with Super Bowl aspirations makes.
As such, Green Bay may be very active in the market leading up to the NFL trade deadline, looking to add even more firepower to its already stacked roster.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is injured, and regardless of whether he suits up, the Packers’ pass rush should be able to put up plenty of pressure on him or backup Jacoby Brissett.
Arizona has deflated in the second half in almost every game this season, and the heat is mounting on head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love is playing at an MVP level, and with wide receiver Christian Watson possibly making his season debut, the table is set for it to leave Arizona with a win and, maybe down the road, a veteran defender.
