The Green Bay Packers have one of the best running backs of this generation.
Josh Jacobs is a true every-down back, and he had a great first season with them after leaving the Las Vegas Raiders.
Nevertheless, Jacobs hasn’t been as proficient this season, and while subpar run-blocking has a lot to do with that, he’s also struggled to gain yards after contact.
So, in light of his past success, it might be a surprise to see the Packers linked to a Miami Dolphins running back.

The Dolphins have one win this season and have lost wide receiver Tyreek Hill for the season with a leg injury.
Mike McDaniel is the favorite to be the first head coach fired, and the same could apply to general manager Will Grier.
As such, the Dolphins could be entering panic mode, and Achane is certainly worth rescuing if he hits the trade market.
He’s one of the fastest running backs in the league and a huge factor in the passing game.
He could be a perfect complement to Jacobs, giving the Packers arguably the best backfield in the game.
Of course, they would face some competition for his services, as the Chiefs, Chargers and Steelers will also reportedly keep tabs on him.
Adding Achane might feel like overkill for Green Bay, but if the Packers are serious about contending for the Super Bowl, they must go all-in.
