It looked like the Green Bay Packers might run away with the NFC North through the first two weeks of the season.
They blew past the Detroit Lions in Week 1, and their convincing win in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders had people believing they were a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
However, their results in the next two weeks contradicted this, so at this point, it’s hard to know what to make of Green Bay.
The odds to win the NFC North reflect this, at least through five weeks.
Reporter Jacob Morley noted on X that the betting website Kalshi gives the Packers a 31% chance of winning the division.

Having a healthy roster will certainly help them get back on track and try to claw their way back in the division, and the Week 5 bye should help them get to a better place.
As Morley pointed out, Christian Watson returning from IR should give the Packers a better chance at this as well, adding another threat in the passing game.
Jordan Love has made it work with those who have been on the field to this point, but he’d love to have the big-bodied Watson into the fold sooner than later.
An improved offensive outlook, paired with a defense that has the potential to be the best in the league, is just what the Packers need coming out of the bye.
Thankfully, they have the Cincinnati Bengals on tap, allowing them to get right against a team that’s more banged up than they are and giving them confidence moving forward.
