The Milwaukee Bucks had another big postseason collapse.
This time it was against the Brooklyn Nets in the second round.
Game 5 was a must win for both teams.
The Nets were at home and were without Kyrie Irving and James Harden at full strength.
The Bucks looked like they were going to be easily dispatched, but now could steal a game and close it out at home.
This game looked like it was over midway through the third quarter.
The Bucks had a good lead with Harden hobbling and Kevin Durant playing every second of the game.
However, the Bucks blew the lead as Durant had one of the greatest playoff performances ever.

Now the Bucks are one loss away from being bounced from the playoffs.
For three consecutive seasons, there have been title aspirations.
This season can be another failure.
That leads to the rumors and concerns if they lose once again.
With rumors come overreactions.
There are three overreactions we are mostly going to hear this offseason, if the Bucks lose this series.
3. Fire Budenholzer Now
The most debatable argument that will occur with a series loss is the firing of head coach, Mike Budenholzer.
Budenholzer has been the coach for the Bucks for the past three seasons.
Each season, he has brought a great record and a chance to be a Finals team.
However, this would be another season of not making it to the Finals and questioning Budenholzer.
if the bucks lose this game, what coach can they hire before game 6?

Does Budenholzer deserve a lot of the blame?
Yes.
Will they upgrade if they fire him?
We do not know.
Budenholzer is a good coach.
It has been three seasons of competing.
Winning a title is a hard task.
The quick turnaround of teams has us possibly wanting to prematurely fire Budenholzer.
Talks have around circulated about the potential move.
Now time will tell.
2. This Roster Needs A Big Shake-Up
This roster is very good.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is their superstar force.
Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton are his co-stars.
Then there are some key role players.
This roster is very good, but maybe not great.
To be honest, the issue is not their roster.
The issue is their competition and how they construct rosters.
Big-market teams are capable of gaining players with ease.
The Bucks do not have that luxury.
This might be the best roster they can put together.
Furthermore, most teams would love their roster.
However, the NBA is now changing so quick with every month.
Players want to leave and that is when the big-market teams strike.
The Bucks are good and can’t really afford to make any big changes to the roster.
1. Giannis Should Leave
Giannis is not going to leave this offseason due to his contract extension.
But what about in a couple of years?
People did not want him to stay in Milwaukee, but he decided to show the team some loyalty.
Now with another playoff failure possibly, maybe he should leave in a couple of years.
He might not ever win with the Bucks, but it is good to keep on trying.
Giannis should not demand to leave because of three years of not making it to the Finals.
The media wants him out of there.
Now it is not the time for him to head out.
