The Baltimore Orioles have found themselves in the news recently for all the wrong reasons.
This is due to the fact that TV announcer Kevin Brown was shockingly suspended from his post after Orioles management took exception to comments he had made about how the team had reversed a trend of struggles at Tropicana Field.
People all around the world of sports have caught wind of what took place and have simultaneously rallied in support of the suspended Orioles broadcaster.
On Tuesday, the Orioles hosted the defending World Series champion Houston Astros, and in the bottom of the seventh inning, Astros and Orioles fans alike began to chant “Free Kevin Brown” at Camden Yards.
The sports site “Awful Announcing” posted a video on Twitter featuring the chants from fans.

Though this is obviously a very messy situation, one thing that every fan, broadcaster, and media member seem to agree on is the fact that Brown simply did not do anything wrong.
Rather, Brown was simply stating facts about how the Orioles have played better on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays than in the recent past.
However, that ultimately ended up getting Brown suspended from his position as the Orioles play-by-play television announcer.
But that didn’t stop fans in Baltimore and around the baseball world from rallying in support of the Orioles broadcaster.
Both Orioles and Astros fans were chanting the same thing, desiring a better outcome for Brown than a suspension.
Brown has been off the air since July 30, but is set to return soon.
