There are 12 teams who will make the MLB postseason this year as a result of expanded playoffs being agreed upon in the new CBA back in March.
So far, all divisions except for one have been decided, and 11 teams have punched their ticket to the big dance.
Just one spot is still up for grabs, but it may not be after tonight.
The Philadelphia Phillies lead the Milwaukee Brewers by two games for the third and final National League Wild Card spot.
They have a magic number of just one to clinch and secure a date with the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card Series starting Friday at Busch Stadium.

Phils Could Clinch Tonight
The playoff picture is becoming much clearer as the days go by.
We’re in the final three scheduled days of the regular season.
Thursday will be an off day for all postseason teams before things kick off on Friday afternoon.
The top two seeds in each league will get a bye to the Division Series.
Seeds three and six will match up with each other while seeds four and five will play their series.
But tonight, the picture could be complete.
All 12 teams could potentially be in before the end of the season.
Not only that, but every matchup could potentially be decided by tomorrow at the earliest.
There’s still a lot that can happen, but the postseason picture is becoming clearer and soon the picture will be complete.
The Phillies would be the last team to clinch a playoff berth if they were to wrap things up tonight in the Wild Card race.
We’ll see what happens over these next three days and how things shake out.
