While also being flexed into that spot whenever possible by the league.

Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys back in 1989 for $150 million.
He now has a franchise that is worth $7.64 billion.
It is hard to fathom that much money, but the Cowboys have been the most valuable franchise for a while now.
Even though having the most valuable franchise is cool, Jones would trade all of that for another Super Bowl.
The Cowboys last won a Super Bowl in 1996, since then they have not made an NFC Championship game.
But, as we get set for the playoffs, the Cowboys have another shot to end the drought.
Despite playing poorly in Week 18, the Cowboys have been one of the best teams in the league this year.
When they are playing their best, they can beat any team in the NFL.
But, they can not consistently put their A-game on the field.
So it will be interesting to see what Cowboys team shows up in the wild-card round.
