Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a free agent and should have his pick of NFL teams looking to hire him this offseason.
He turned the New England Patriots into the biggest dynasty in sports and one of the most well-known sports franchises in the world, but couldn’t turn the team around after the departure of quarterback Tom Brady in 2020.
The two sides parted ways Thursday, but it sounds as if Belichick will coach in 2024.
Where, though remains the question – and betting odds have already determined that the Atlanta Falcons are the favorite landing spot for Belichick, according to DraftKings Sportsbook via Bleacher Report.

The Falcons were a sleeper NFC East champion pick this offseason and proved up to the task before a late-season collapse.
Some of that was on coaching, and probably why Falcons owner Arthur Blank fired head coach Arthur Smith after three seasons with the team.
Atlanta has the offensive talent with three first-round picks at skill positions – tight end Kyle Pitts, wide receiver Drake London, and running back Bijan Robinson – but doesn’t have a quarterback yet.
If Blank is willing to go all-in on Belichick, maybe he’d be willing to pony up some draft capital and/or money to go out and either draft a rookie or acquire a veteran to push the Falcons into playoff and Super Bowl contention.
And maybe Belichick is the man to finish the job the Falcons couldn’t in 2016 when his Patriots came back to beat Atlanta after a 28-3 deficit in Super Bowl LI.
