The Tennessee Titans capped off a disappointing season with some good news.
While things didn’t go their way in 2024, they will at least have an opportunity to set things straight with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
And with it, all signs point at them taking a new quarterback.
As shown by Yahoo! Sports on X, Miami star Cam Ward is currently the odds-on favorite to go first overall.

He’s ahead of fellow QB Shedeur Sanders and other stars like Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, and Will Campbell.
Truth be told, this is a bit of a surprise, considering that either Hunter or Sanders were penciled in as the No. 1 picks for most of the process.
Then again, this is always dynamic, so it can go back and forth until the day of the actual draft.
What seems to be painfully evident is that Will Levis isn’t an NFL-caliber starter, at least not at this point in his career.
His impressive physical tools are only topped by his erratic decision-making, and his proneness to put the ball in harm’s way is rather alarming.
Of course, he’s still young, so there’s always a possibility that someone will be able to coach those issues out of his game.
For now, however, it seems like the Titans just ought to go in a different direction.
Ward is a privileged athlete and an enticing prospect.
It will be interesting to see how he performs in the pros.
