The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly releasing wide receiver Amari Cooper after four seasons with the team.
The former Alabama standout has three years left on the five-year, $100 million deal he signed in 2020 and he’s due for a $20 million base salary next season.
Other NFL teams would be interested to acquire the services of the four-time Pro Bowler.
However, Bovada Sportsbook puts things into perspective by naming this team to be a likely destination for the 27-year-old wideout.

PFF Bet shared that “Amari Cooper is (+700) to join the Detroit Lions.”
However, that number increased to +750, per Odds Shark.
Joining the Lions would be a big boost for head coach Dan Campbell‘s offense, especially because they were nearly devoid of talent at the position last year.
If not for Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s emergence late in the season, tight end T.J. Hockenson would have been their top option in their passing game.
Due to the shallow depth at the position, the Lions regressed from 5-11 in 2020 to 3-13-1 the following year.
Cooper will be the primary target they desperately lack if he decides to join Detroit.
Quarterback Jared Goff will also benefit from having a top target on offense.
Cooper, St. Brown, and the returning Quintez Cephus would form a solid receiving trio.
Trinity Benson and KhaDarel Hodge could also contribute at key moments during their 2022 campaign.
Other Teams in the Bovada Odds For Cooper
As of press time, the Lions have the fifth-best odds in landing Cooper.
The Philadelphia Eagles top the list at +200 while the New England Patriots are at +250.
The Cowboys are at number three at +300 while the New York Jets are fourth at +350.
Rounding up the top seven are the Cleveland Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars, both at +900.
