The Los Angeles Clippers might’ve been experiencing some buyer’s remorse after they traded for James Harden given the losing streak that occurred right after.
However, credit and praise should be heaped on the Clippers as they’ve turned things around in the past month or so and are playing like one of the best teams in the league.
Los Angeles has won eight out of their last 10 games, with their most recent win coming in a blowout against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Everything seems to be clicking for the Clippers right now and they’ve started to creep into the inner circle of contenders.
During their recent run, L.A.’s positioned themselves quite well in the standings via Farbod Esnaashari of Sports Illustrated.
“The LA Clippers are just one game out of the third seed and 2.5 games away from the first seed,” Esnaashari tweeted.

As of now, the Denver Nuggets sit at the third seed while the Minnesota Timberwolves have control of the one seed.
It’s quite the testament to the Clippers’ resiliency to overcome a multi-game losing streak and suddenly find themselves near the top of the Western Conference.
While their recent stretch has been encouraging, there will still be questions about the team given some of their flameouts in recent years.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George’s health is always a massive concern, while Russell Westbrook and James Harden don’t have the best postseason records.
For now, though, the organization has to be happy with where the roster currently is and it should be interesting to see if they’re able to keep this torrid pace up.
