Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets just had one of the best seasons of his career.
He averaged 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists a game and, of course, won his first NBA championship.
But is Murray still underrated?
His teammate Christian Braun thinks so.
On Twitter, Braun retweeted a video of Murray playing well during the Western Conference Finals with a total of 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 three-pointers made.
“And he’s still underrated,” Braun tweeted.

There are others who claim that Murray really is underrated.
Murray missed a lot of time on the court recently.
He didn’t play at all during the 2021-22 season because of an ACL injury.
During that time, Nikola Jokic became even more of a team leader for the Nuggets.
When Murray returned to the team, it wholly belonged to Jokic.
Some argue that Murray has been playing in Jokic’s shadow ever since.
That’s understandable considering what a once-in-a-lifetime talent Jokic is.
But Murray has been doing incredibly well for months.
It took him a little bit of time to get back in the swing of things but he was still scoring very well and reclaimed his title as one of the best guards in the league.
Although his regular season output was great, Murray got better in the playoffs.
It was then that he averaged 26.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists.
And he started to get really hot from the three-point line too, especially during that series against the Lakers.
When the season came to an end, the Nuggets claimed ultimate victory and the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Murray was a crucial part of the team’s sensational postseason run.
Even if he is underrated, no one can deny that he’s a champion.
