The NBA‘s reigning Finals MVP is back and ready to lead his team again.
The Denver Nuggets want to prove to the league that their championship win last season wasn’t a fluke and they are prepared to play hard.
At the center of their plans is, of course, Nikola Jokic.
The five-time All-Star looked like his usual self in a video posted by the team on Twitter.
In other words, he looked great.

The upcoming season will be a big one for Jokic and his Nuggets.
Now that they are the team’s defending champions, everyone will be trying to take them down.
They will be the prime target for all other teams in the Western Conference.
Similarly, all other players will be trying to conquer Jokic at every opportunity.
Beating Jokic will be a badge of honor and stars from every team will all be attempting to defeat him after such an explosive and historic season.
Last year, Jokic posted 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists.
He was in the running for MVP but ultimately lost out on that after back-to-back wins.
However, he was finally able to claim his first Finals, which has always been his ultimate goal.
Now that that’s accomplished, he is going to try to do it again.
But winning two championships in a row is very hard and many teams have tried – and failed – to do it.
It will be even harder this year after all of the massive changes that teams have gone through this summer.
Jokic and the Nuggets are about to learn just how challenging it is to be the best team in the league.NEXT: Nuggets Reporter Calls Out Lakers Players
