The Denver Nuggets are NBA champions for the first time in franchise history.
Thursday’s parade marks a historic day for the fans and the organization, so you better believe they’re ready to go all-out in their celebration.
Needless to say, that includes Coach Michael Malone, who showed up to the parade with a hilarious shirt.
The shirt features the Larry O’Brien trophy with the writing “put this in your pipe and smoke it.”

For those who lack the context, that’s the same thing he said when he called out the media for not giving his team enough attention throughout the playoffs.
Malone put the press on blast for constantly talking about the Los Angeles Lakers and the things they had to do to beat the Nuggets, as opposed to talking about Nikola Jokic’s historical playoff run or how the Nuggets were actually up 2-0 in the series.
It’s not a secret that big-market teams often control the news cycles, and NBA pundits have — literally — made a living out of talking about LeBron James and the Lakers.
But there’s no way to hide it anymore.
The Nuggets were the best team in the NBA this season, and it’s only right they get all the spotlight now after that dominant run in the playoffs.
Malone and his team got the last laugh, put the world on notice, and made NBA history, like it or not.
That’s the ultimate victory cigar, and Malone will have bragging rights for at least an entire NBA season.
