The Dallas Mavericks started the 2023-24 season on a great note as they remained undefeated until playing against the Denver Nuggets in their most recent matchup.
It was an entertaining battle between Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic, who are regarded as two of the best international players in the league right now.
The final score stood at 125-114 in favor of the Nuggets as Jokic dropped another 30+ point performance.
After getting the win against the Dallas Mavericks, Nikola Jokic trolled Luka Doncic, as revealed via Hardwood Paroxysm on Twitter.
I asked Jokic what he enjoys about Luka’s game.

Jokic explained how defeating Luka Doncic and making fun of him is his favorite part of the Dallas Mavericks superstar’s game.
Well, Jokic was obviously joking with his good friend.
Speaking of the game, Jokic recorded 33 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists, as he was just an assist shy of a triple-double performance.
On the other hand, Doncic matched Jokic’s performance by putting up 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Nuggets.
Unfortunately, Doncic’s side was simply outplayed by the Nuggets as the Mavericks suffered their first loss of the season.
The defeat had twice the effect on the Mavericks as it was their first game of the NBA In-Season Tournament as well.
As a result, the Mavericks now have a 4-1 record in the Western Conference.
They slipped to the third spot in the standings following the defeat against the Nuggets.
But Mavericks fans shouldn’t worry much after the loss, as most of the season is ahead of the Mavericks to finish as a top-four seed in the Western Conference.
