The Denver Nuggets created history last season after winning the first NBA Championship in franchise history.
The primary credit for the championship run goes to none other than the ever-so-talented Nikola Jokic.
Considering the Nuggets are the defending champions of the league, most expect them to win games against other top seeds in the Western Conference.
However, the Nuggets failed to do so during their most recent matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After the game, Nikola Jokic heaped huge praise on Shai Gilgeous-Alexandeer via the NBA’s official Twitter handle.
“He’s a problem in this league,” Jokic said.

Jokic had a short yet effective answer about the talent of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The two-time NBA MVP believes Gilgeous-Alexander has all the ingredients in his game to be a problem in the league.
Speaking of Gilgeous-Alexander’s performance against the Nuggets, he had 40 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The scoring outburst helped the Thunder register a solid 119-93 win over the Nuggets.
As for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s performance against the Nuggets, it didn’t take many by surprise.
After all, the 25-year-old is averaging 31.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game for the Thunder this season.
As a result, fans expected Shai to take over the game more often than not.
Thanks to the Canadian superstar’s epic numbers, the Thunder are currently the second seed in the Western Conference with a terrific 21-9 record.
Can Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continue playing at this level for the rest of the season? Fans will find out the answer to the question over the next few months.
