Anyone who pays attention to the NBA, even remotely, knows that few players are as good as Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
He’s a two-time, back-to-back MVP and one of the best centers in the league without question.
He is so good, in fact, that he is outdoing some of the biggest names in the history of the NBA.
Most all-time APG by a center:
6.2 — Nikola Jokic
4.4 — Wilt Chamberlain
4.3 — Bill RussellJokic is playing over 12 MPG less than Wilt and Bill. pic.twitter.com/zW6iAEqCj4

On the list of the most assists per game by a center, Jokic is easily number one with 6.2.
Behind him is the legendary Wilt Chamberlain with 4.4 assists per game and then the late, great Bill Russell with 4.3 assists per game.
But here’s the thing: Jokic is playing over 12 minutes per game less than both Chamberlain and Russell.
So he is doing more with less and that just really nails the point that Jokic is truly one of a kind.
Passing Greatness
It is quite an honor for him to be passing two heroes like Chamberlain and Russell in such a pivotal, historic way.
Speaking of passing, no one does it like him.
When you see Jokic, you expect him to play like a typical big man and use his body as a tool to create and stop shots.
However, he is so much more than that.
He is easily one of the best passers alive and watching him find his peers and make assists is a thing of beauty.
Viewing someone like Jokic so marvelously pass is a work of art and shows how versatile and amazing his talent is.
There is a good reason why Denver has built its entire organization around Jokic.
You don’t see a center like Jokic very often.
In fact, in many ways, we have never seen anyone like him before.
