The Memphis Grizzlies should be quite concerned about Ja Morant’s situation right now.
Recent reporting indicates that he could be looking at a long suspension after being spotted flashing a gun on Instagram Live for the second time in the past couple of months.
Not playing for a long period of time should be bad enough for both the franchise and the player.

However, Morant may face even more serious consequences for his actions, as his sneaker deal with Nike could be in jeopardy.
According to a report by TMZ, Nike has removed Morant’s signature shoes from its app and online store.
The Ja 1 had become an instant success since being launched on April 19.
Fast forward to today, and you’ll have a hard time finding any Morant-related apparel, outside of a few t-shirts, per TMZ.
The former No. 2 pick signed a long-term deal with Nike in 2019 and he was expected to be one of their signature athletes for years to come as one of the new faces of the NBA.
But Morant’s recent activity on social media has raised some doubts about his character and could force the brand to pull the plug on that deal, similar to what happened with Kyrie Irving after he promoted an anti-Semitic movie on Twitter.
