It’s difficult to talk about the Golden State Warriors without mentioning Steph Curry’s name.
Curry has not only changed the direction of this franchise, but his three-point shooting ability has changed the course of the NBA.
He’s inspired a new generation of long-range shooters, which is now starting to show itself at the collegiate level.
Curry has also helped the Warriors become a winning organization, as the team has won four championships during his regime.
However, the 2023-2024 Warriors don’t look like the NBA Finals-winning team they have been in years past.
The Warriors hold the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference and seem poised to be in the Play-In Tournament.
There is still a chance that the Warriors could miss the playoffs, which leaves Curry with a decision to make, according to analyst Nick Wright.
As Wright detailed in a recent segment of First Things First on FS1, “Steph Curry has to pick between wanting to be a Warrior for life, or play in games that really matter again. He can’t do both.”

Wright seems to believe that the Warriors won’t make any noise in the playoffs for the foreseeable future.
With this in mind, he wonders if Curry would be better off on another team that is ready to compete for an NBA title.
Several teams around the league would welcome him with open arms, but, of course, he would have to decide to leave the Warriors for that to happen.
Curry and his family have deep ties to the Bay Area, so he might not be interested in leaving the team he has played on for his entire career, even if it gives him a much better chance of winning another ring.
