After getting the best of the Philadelphia Eagles in a hard-fought battle in the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs were able to do it again this past season by beating the San Francisco 49ers in the big game, becoming the first team to win back-to-back titles since Tom Brady’s New England Patriots.
With the prospect of becoming the first team in NFL history to three-peat as Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs had some work to do heading into the offseason, with the wide receiver position needing to be addressed along with needing to bring back some important players like Chris Jones and L’Jarius Sneed.
In classic Chiefs fashion, Kansas City has checked all the boxes during the offseason thus far and still has the 2024 NFL Draft to look forward to, which will take place next month.
With the Chiefs making some solid moves during free agency, Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes Kansas City has had the best offseason of any team thus far via First Things First.
“Obviously, the Chiefs had the best offseason,” Wright said.

With Wright being a diehard Chiefs fan, this is a biased position, as plenty of teams have had stellar offseasons up to this point, like the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders.
Ultimately, the offseason won’t be completely judged or graded until the NFL Draft has come and gone, which means there are a few more weeks left for teams to make moves and win the draft on April 25.
