During the second half of the 2023 NFL regular season, the Buffalo Bills were able to turn it on after playing some less-than-stellar football in the first half of the season.
Superstar quarterback Josh Allen kicked it into high gear and became a legitimate NFL MVP candidate, with the Bills firing on all cylinders and looking like a title contender in the AFC once again.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, Allen and company ran into the Kansas City Chiefs again in the NFL playoffs and, despite playing at home at Highmark Stadium, were unable to come out on top and advance to the AFC Championship Game.
Clearly, the team needs to make some changes during the offseason, with Nick Wright of FOX Sports believing that the Bills need to upgrade the passing game in Buffalo via First Things First.
“For the Bills to be contenders, they need to have a top-three passing attack,” Wright said. “That is their biggest strength. … What makes them special is Josh Allen.”

Unfortunately for Buffalo, there could be some drastic changes on the horizon, which might not be a step in the right direction initially, with wide receiver Gabe Davis headed for NFL free agency and the team potentially parting ways with star wideout Stefon Diggs.
However, the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft is stacked with talent from the college game, as teams like the Bills could bring in a rookie wide receiver or two to help bolster their receiving corps.
Also, there are some intriguing wide receiver free agents, like Mike Evans, Michael Pittman Jr., and Marquise Brown.
