The Baltimore Ravens have one of the biggest challenges of the season ahead of them.
They’re in for a date with the Philadelphia Eagles, a team currently riding a seven-game winning streak.
The Eagles’ defense has been spectacular over the past few months, and Saquon Barkley is playing at an MVP level.
Nevertheless, Nick Wright still believes the Ravens will end up on top.
Talking on FOX’s “First Things First,” all panelists agreed that the Ravens had the upper hand in this matchup.
Wright praised Jackson and what the Ravens had been able to do this season, even though he’s also a big fan of Barkley.
.@getnickwright picked the Ravens to beat the Eagles and @kevinwildes was NOT having it ?
“Then take off your Saquon jersey. If you are gonna be the Eagles guy, you have to rep the Eagles throughout the whole thing.” pic.twitter.com/twDOyPpjzJ

The panelists pointed out that Lamar Jackson has gone 2-0 against Vic Fangio’s defenses in the past.
Granted, perhaps this will be the best Vic Fangio defense he has to face, and the Eagles are also rolling on offense.
Even so, Jackson has historically dominated the NFC, and he’s usually the player who rises to the occasion in the regular season.
The problem is that the Ravens, as great as they’ve been, have also made some mistakes this season.
They’re one of the best teams in the league when they’re focused.
Hopefully, that will be the case in this matchup, as we could be looking at one of the season’s most exciting games.
