The Chicago Bears are expected to be much better next season.
Trading for Keenan Allen gives them another bona fide option in the passing game, with D.J. Moore ready to take another leap in his second season with the team.
Add in Cole Kmet, D’Andre Swift, and potentially Caleb Williams and another weapon taken with the No. 9 pick, and Matt Eberflus’ team could make a big splash next season.
This might be the best offense the Bears have had in quite a while, perhaps even ever.
However, even though they should be better next season, NFL analyst Nick Wright wants to pump the brakes on the Super Bowl talk, at least for now.
Talking on his “What’s Wright?” show, the FOX Sports pundit stated that, of all possible scenarios, he thinks the most likely is a Wild Card berth and a first-round exit for the Bears.
.@DannyParkins: The Bears are stacked to have the best offense that they've had in my lifetime.@getnickwright: The most likely outcome for the Bears is a wildcard berth & a loss in Round 1.

That might be a little disappointing for Bears fans who are bullish on the team, but that’s not bad at all.
We would be talking about a team that would go from being one of the absolute worst in the league to making the playoffs.
This Bears team should have a bright future ahead of them.
Williams could be a generational talent at the quarterback position, and they’ve never had an elite quarterback in franchise history.
It’s an exciting time to be a Bears fan, and, with all due respect to them, that’s not something we’ve been able to say very often in recent years.
