The Dallas Cowboys have been among the most surprising teams in the NFL this year.
They were one of the NFL’s best teams during the 2023 regular season, but they haven’t found a way to replicate that success this season.
If they don’t turn things around in the back half of the year, they could end up with one of their worst full-season records in recent history.
With the Cowboys’ unexpected record in mind, fans and analysts have tried to pinpoint what has gone wrong for this team.
Some have suggested that Dak Prescott is the problem, others aren’t fans of Mike McCarthy, and injuries have also been commonly noted as the biggest frustration point.
Nick Wright added his two cents to this conversation in a recent segment of his show, “What’s Wright?”.
In Wright’s mind, most of the Cowboys’ problems could be solved with his three-step plan.
He noted that the Cowboys should bring in a real football person to help turn things around, help Micah Parsons limit his off-field distractions, fire McCarthy, and hire Mike Vrabel as their newest head coach.

This might seem like many steps, but things are not going well for this historical team.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Wright seems to believe that the Cowboys are in the middle of some desperate times.
If they don’t make any changes during the 2025 season and beyond, this team might be in a vicious cycle for the foreseeable future.
