The Buffalo Bills managed to fend off a feisty New York Giants team in Week 6 to improve to 4-2 during the 2023 NFL season.
The Bills beat the Giants 14-9, a low-scoring affair for a team featuring Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.
New York did well to slow down the Buffalo offense by bottling up the run game and forcing Allen to throw in traffic and under pressure.
However, the All-Pro quarterback was able to extend plays with his legs and scramble his way out of tough situations.
There’s no play that exemplifies Allen more as a player than his touchdown throw to tight end Quintin Morris to give the Bills the lead for good.
It was a wildly difficult throw to make, and while Nick Wright acknowledged how special the play was, it also concerned him via the What’s Wright? with Nick Wright show.
“The Josh Allen TD pass was one of the single most impressive throws made all year, a terrible decision, and why I don’t trust the Bills,” Wright said.

Allen faces pressure from the Giants’ front and instead of running forward, he throws the ball into the end zone where Morris is able to come up with the catch.
Wright argues that that sort of throw could’ve cost Buffalo the game as they only needed a field goal at that point to take the lead.
Allen has a knack for creating plays out of nothing, though the decision to fire a pass in that situation was definitely questionable to say the least.
Regardless, Bills fans aren’t going to complain about the win and will worry about Allen’s decision-making another time.
