The 2022 Philadelphia Eagles wanted to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of a Super Bowl.
That’s why they hired Vic Fangio as a consultant on their way to the Super Bowl.
As you may know by now, Fangio is now the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins, so he might know a thing or two about their offense ahead of Sunday’s matchup.
When asked about that, though, HC Nick Sirianni claimed that they “didn’t give him all the secrets,” adding that Fangio was giving them information about the Kansas City Chiefs, but they didn’t give him any info about their current team (via John McMullen).

Sirianni raved about Fangio as a person and claimed that he grew quite fond of him during their time together, praising him as a person and as a football mind.
Notably, that’s pretty much the same Fangio said when asked about his days with the Eagles.
He acknowledged that the communication wasn’t much of a two-way street, as he was giving them more information and should have an edge over him, if there were to be any.
Fangio will have to get extra creative and come up with some new things to make things harder for Sirianni.
At least, he has a blueprint from last Sunday’s loss to the New York Jets, who handed the Eagles their very first loss of the regular season.
And while the Dolphins don’t have as much talent on defense as the Jets do, Fangio is one of the few defensive minds in the league who could actually find success against a team like Philadelphia.NEXT: Skip Bayless Is Not A Fan Of Latest Eagles Addition
