NFL teams that need a quarterback are out there looking for the right signal-caller to fill their needs.
Right now, it looks as if the Atlanta Falcons are moving on from Matt Ryan.
In a shocker, Deshaun Watson going to the Cleveland Browns opens up chances to trade Ryan for some draft capital.
While Ryan is old, he will be 37 at the start of the 2022 season, which hasn’t affected his counterparts like Tom Brady.
He still has some gas in the tank and will look to prove he still has what it takes to play in the NFL.
#MattRyan is one of the 25 greatest QBs in the #NFL’s 102-year history.
He’s the greatest player in #Falcons history.
Underrated for the majority of his career. Underrated right now.
He deserves MUCH better. To say his dominance has been under-appreciated is an understatement. pic.twitter.com/qAuX2P9dBE

He is also one of two quarterbacks that are most likely to be traded before the 2022 NFL Draft starts.
The other quarterback is Baker Mayfield, who has wanted out of Cleveland since the team started talks with Watson.
While Mayfield will likely be more expensive to acquire, he is also younger.
That leaves teams asking if they want a short-term experienced quarterback in Ryan or a chance of a longer-term fix with Mayfield if he can improve.
So in the crazy quarterback market of the NFL, which three NFL teams should trade for Ryan?
3. Houston Texans
With Watson out of Houston, they will need a quarterback.
The team will most likely draft a quarterback in this year’s NFL Draft.
However, Ryan can be a short-term fix for the team.
He can help with the development of a new quarterback.
He also brings experience with him that can also be helpful to Houston.
A trade for Ryan helps the Texans have someone who will support their future quarterback.
While it might not seem practical for the Texans to do this, it would help their draft pick develop for the future.
2. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have a knack for getting veteran quarterbacks since Andrew Luck retired.
They started with Philip Rivers for 2020 then had Carson Wentz for 2021.
Now 2022 is a mystery for the team as they have no first-round pick this year and no Wentz.
Ryan would fit in as an experienced quarterback for the Colts.
If I’m Matt Ryan.. I’d ask to be traded to Colts…
Pull a Stafford and go try to get that ring

The move would also give the Colts some time at the QB position to draft a quarterback next year.
They also have a good run game, which would help Ryan in the few years he left in the tank.
He might not be the long-term fix the team, but he can help the team in the short-term.
1. Seattle Seahawks
The most likely candidate for Ryan might be the Seahawks.
They have needed a quarterback since trading away Russell Wilson earlier in 2022.
They also have the draft capital to work with this year to rebuild for the future.
The Seahawks can draft a quarterback this year and have them work with Ryan if they trade for him.
Again, Ryan brings years of experience to any team he goes to this season.
The Seahawks can use this on the field and the sidelines as they start to rebuild.
If the Seahawks want to have a chance to stay somewhat competitive in the NFC West, getting Ryan might help that cause.
