Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors hasn’t played a game since he injured himself on March 16.
In the preceding weeks, the Warriors have faced all kinds of problems and have suffered issues without their lead star.
Now the playoffs are about to begin and the third-seed Golden State aren’t sure where things stand for Curry.
However, it sounds like he will be back sooner rather than later.
Let’s Go Steph 🤟🏾 https://t.co/yErimlack9
— DK Metcalf (@dkm14) April 13, 2022
The Warriors said that he is making “good progress” on his rehabilitation, without revealing even a tentative return date.
This caused Seattle Seahawks wide receiver to tweet “Let’s Go Steph.”
Metcalf isn’t alone in his support of Curry – there are millions hoping to see Curry back on the floor very soon.
Full Practice Soon
The Warriors have said that Curry could return to full practice later this week as his sprained ligament and bone bruise in his left foot continue to improve.
Head coach Steve Kerr said that Curry is “day-to-day” so hopefully, he keeps getting better and better.
The Warriors are desperate to have him back.
Without him, Golden State went 6-6, which isn’t great but could definitely be worse.
However, the playoffs are a whole different beast and they need all hands on deck as they enter the first round against the Denver Nuggets.
The Warriors are the odds-on favorites to take down the Nuggets, even without Curry, but there is always a chance that things don’t happen as expected and Denver puts up more of a fight.
The bottom line is that the Warriors are always a lot better when Curry is on the court.
If he gets healthy and can play, there is a strong chance they can make the Western Conference Finals yet again.
