With just a few weeks left in the NFL season, most people are debating whether Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or Saquon Barkley should win MVP.
Allen seems like the clear-cut favorite to win it right now.
However, no one seems to be talking about Sam Darnold.
Even if his numbers haven’t been as impressive as theirs, they have been pretty good.
Also, the Minnesota Vikings are now 13-2 for the season, and he’s had a lot to do with that.
That’s why Vikings player Camryn Bynum recently called him the best quarterback in the league.

Following the win over the Seattle Seahawks, the defender tipped his hat to his quarterback, praising him for leading them to such an impressive record.
He stated that Darnold continues to prove that he can make every throw in the book and lead them to success week after week.
Darnold has had the best season of his career this year, and it’s not even close.
Through the first 15 games of the season, he’s completed 67.2% of his passes for 3,776 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Given his long and well-documented history of struggles, those numbers are far above what most people expected from him this season.
Coach Kevin O’Connell also deserves a lot of credit for his work with him so far.
The Vikings are still overlooked, and few people seem to believe in Darnold.
However, after winning 13 of 15 games, you have to realize he’s onto something very good right now.
