The Minnesota Vikings chose to part ways with Dalvin Cook recently, and it’s kind of shocking to see that he’s still a free agent.
However, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t gauged plenty of league-wide interest already.
According to ESPN insider Dianna Russini (via Dov Kleiman), the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are doing their due diligence on him and would love to sign him.

Nonetheless, things may not get done for a while.
Russini cites that Cook’s camp is likely to wait until after the July 17 deadline, which is when several players could sign a contract extension.
And with Saquon Barkley threatening to hold out — and him not likely being the only player in that position — Cook could wait until around that time before making a decision, as he’d likely get more options and a clearer picture of where to take his talents to.
Notably, the Dolphins have been keeping tabs on him for quite a while now.
They were even close to trading for him earlier in March before the trade talks fell apart, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see them reignite that interest.
As for the Jets, they’re the newest powerhouse in the league, and winning teams are always looking forward to adding even more talent.
The Denver Broncos were also a rumored destination just last week, so Cook will definitely have no shortage of suitors and destinations to choose from for the next step in his career in the National Football League.
