The Miami Dolphins have announced a new player development before their playoff game this weekend against the Buffalo Bills.
Tua Tagovailoa will not be joining the Dolphins for their playoff game this weekend, despite prior reporting being optimistic surrounding his status.
Tua Tagovailoa is OUT Sunday vs. Bills.
Mike McDaniel says as of today Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t been cleared to resume football activities with the team so he’s ruled out.

Tagovailoa hasn’t played in a game since Christmas Day when he suffered another concussion against the Green Bay Packers.
In his absence, the Dolphins have split their final two games of the season, losing to the New England Patriots in Week 17, and narrowly squeaking out a victory against the New York Jets this past week, a game in which no touchdowns were scored by either team.
This week, the Dolphins head to Buffalo in what will be a difficult matchup with the Bills.
The teams have met twice this season, splitting the season series.
In their first matchup, Tagovailoa was active, but was largely ineffective in their win, throwing for just 186 yards and one touchdown pass.
In their second matchup, even though the Dolphins ended up losing, Tagovailoa had a much better performance, throwing for 234 yards and two touchdowns.
Heading to Buffalo is always a tall task in January, especially for a team that spends the majority of the season in the balmy heat of Miami.
Will the Dolphins be able to overcome their shortcomings and beat the Bills in a shocking upset?
Tune in on Sunday, for what should be a hard-fought battle between these two AFC East divisional rivals.
