Although this news is very fresh, initial reactions from around the league have been mixed.
It has left many Titans fans confused.
Why fire a GM when your team is leading their division?
Sitting at 7-5, even though the Titans have lost two consecutive games, they are in the driver’s seat to win the AFC South.
Yet, Robinson was fired.
With more details to come, let’s look at a few moves that Robinson made in his tenure with the team.
Robinson’s History With The Titans
Before accepting the GM job with the Titans, Robinson had previously worked as a scout for the New England Patriots, and also was the director of player personnel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In his history with the Titans, Robinson has drafted a total of 29 players.
Some of these players include Derrick Henry, Kevin Byard, A.J. Brown, and Treylon Burks.
Given Robinson’s history of scouting, many Titans fans have thought favorably of him during his tenure with the team.
We will await further details into the firing of Robinson.
For now, this whole situation will be surrounded by speculation, unknowns, and a whole lot of waiting.
With the Titans set to make yet another playoff appearance, it appears that they have big shoes to fill at GM.
