There have been several key storylines during the NFL offseason thus far, and Lamar Jackson continues to find himself as a cornerstone in these talks.
Jackson was franchise-tagged by the Baltimore Ravens, a move that was shocking to many across the league.
Although the Ravens did franchise tag him, this tag is non-exclusive, meaning that another team could sign him, theoretically.
Recently, one team has emerged as a possibility to sign him, which was highlighted by Jeremy Fowler.

As Jeremy Fowler points out, many believe that Jackson is unhappy in Baltimore.
Are the Indianapolis Colts a dark horse to sign him?
The Colts are widely believed to have an interest in acquiring a quarterback, either via the draft or free agency.
Currently, the Colts have the fourth overall pick in April’s draft.
However, it is becoming increasingly likely that the quarterback that they want will not be there, especially considering the Carolina Panthers’ recent move to acquire the number one overall pick.
The Colts’ hands might be tied, and they could be in on the Jackson sweepstakes.
Jackson won the league’s MVP award in 2019 and has since been a staple for the Ravens’ offense.
If Jackson was to join the Colts, he would join a team with young offensive weapons, a strong offensive line, and a solid defense.
Several pieces would need to fall in place for something like this to happen, but anything is possible at this point.
