The Jacksonville Jaguars play two international games in a row, starting in Week 4 in London, and then heading to Tottenham for their next game.
This is a monumental occasion, as the Jaguars are the first team in history to play two international games in the same season.
International fans have clung to the Jaguars, and they have been a popular choice to compete in these games, given their global influence.
Week 4 will feature the Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons, and they will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.
The next week’s competition is between the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans, which also occurs at Tottenham’s stadium.
In Weeks 9 and 10, the NFL heads to Germany, featuring games in back-to-back weeks in Frankfurt.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins will face off first, followed by the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.
It appears that these international games, at least in 2023, will mainly feature AFC teams.
International games have become a staple of the NFL season, and they allow for continuous growth in a market that has been historically dominated by soccer.
