Things keep getting worse for the Los Angeles Rams.
While the defending Super Bowl champions are 2-3 this season, they are facing more bad news.
This news is around third year running back Cam Akers.
So what is going on with their star RB, and what are fans saying online about his situation?
Rams Are Potentially Looking To Trade Akers
As reported by Ian Rapoport on Sunday morning, Akers play for a new team soon.
Out today due to personal reasons, it’s very possible #Rams RB Cam Akers has played his last down for the team. They are expected to field trade calls for their former starter.

While the star RB was a solid starting back for the Rams during his career, it seems like there are differences between him and Sean McVay.
These differences are pushing him away from the team, which is why Rapoport believes he’s played his last game already with the Rams.
However, fans are taking to Twitter to have their voices heard over this potential trade.
Some are from Bills fans, hoping to see Akers as part of the Bills Mafia.

Others don’t see any value in the trade market for Akers.
Who would trade for him at this point? Given what we’ve seen, he’s looked downright awful since coming back from injury.
Last year you can excuse but this season? Henderson has looked better than Akers every single game
I don’t see a robust trade market for cam Akers tbh

With Akers’ future in jeopardy, it comes down to if the Rams trade him or cut him at this point.
If the market isn’t there, and the Rams are truly done with him, they could cut him to save on cap space.
However, they rather get something for the third year back instead of just cutting him.
While there could be a market for him, he’ll need to protect the ball with his new team.
In 51 rushing attempts this season, he already has one fumble.
The last time he fumbled before this season was during his rookie year in 2020.
