The Detroit Lions finished the 2022 season with a 9-8 record and finished just short of a playoff spot.
With Dan Campbell at the helm, the Lions organization has encountered a major cultural shift and looks to build on its momentum in 2023.
In a surprising turn of events, the offense was one of the best in the league last year, averaging 27.1 points per game.
Their offense was able to succeed, despite Jameson Williams’ absence for the majority of the season.
Recently, James Palmer of the NFL Network commented on Williams’ future, saying, “The ‘ceiling’ for Jameson Williams is so ridiculously high.”
The "ceiling" for Jameson Williams is so ridiculously high. Evaluators believe he still has so much room to grow as a WR and he was already considered the WR in last year's draft class that had something no other player had. https://t.co/DJRW6TKpmX

Later, Palmer noted that Williams still has room for growth, and was widely considered the best receiver in the 2022 class.
The Lions selected Williams 12th overall in the 2022 draft.
During his junior year at the University of Alabama, Williams showed what type of receiver he could be in the NFL.
He amassed 79 receptions, which turned into 1,572 yards, 79 receptions, and 15 touchdowns during that season ahead of the College Football Playoff.
After this incredible season, Williams tore his ACL in the National Championship and spent time rehabbing before the draft.
If he is fully healthy for the 2023 season, Williams should be a force to be reckoned with on this Lions offense.
Williams will join Amon-Ra St. Brown, fighting for the number-one receiver role.
What will this Lions offense be able to accomplish in 2023, given Williams’ likely availability?
And, will the Lions defense be improved enough to allow their offense to win more games?
