The Cincinnati Reds have one of the brightest futures in all of Major League Baseball.
This season they have already called up numerous prospects.
But the one that has superstar potential is shortstop Elly De La Cruz.
He is a true five-tool superstar and has already shown that ability in his first three MLB games.
De La Cruz already has the fastest home-to-third time in MLB.
He achieved that on his first career triple, taking only 10.83 seconds to get to third.

For a player that is 6-foot-5, he should not be able to move that fast.
He showed off similar speed on Thursday when he beat out an infield single.
In just three games he has the fastest sprint speed of the season for the Reds.

In Triple-A this year, De La Cruz had 11 stolen bases in 38 games.
He got his first MLB stolen base on Thursday against Clayton Kershaw.

De La Cruz is one of those rare prospects that come every few years.
He is similar to Fernando Tatis Jr. and Ronald Acuna Jr.
The future of the Reds is in great shape with De La Cruz leading the way.
He could use some improvement in the contact department.
But, the more MLB pitching he sees the better of an all-around hitter he will become.
In just a few games we have seen everything De La Cruz has to offer.
Expect to see him on highlight reels for many years to come.
