As the end of the NBA regular season approaches, we are going to hear more and more talk about who will win the big awards.
The biggest, of course, is the MVP trophy.
There are multiple stars who have been having the seasons of their lives but only one can come out on top and be named the league’s most valuable player.
The ESPN #NBA #MVP voting has just been released for a 2nd time this season.
Nikola Jokic is running away with the award once again…

The latest straw poll of NBA insiders, analysts, and media members has been released, judging who has the best chance of being this season’s MVP.
Unsurprisingly, players like Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks are on the list.
But it’s Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets who is in the top spot.
He received an enormous 77 votes for first place, while the second-place player, Antetokounmpo, earned just 11 for first.
In total, Jokic earned 913 total votes, while Antetokounmpo got 552.
The season’s first straw poll in December had Tatum as number one but things have changed a lot over the last few months.
Jokic has been commanding his team, his conference, and really the entire league.
He is posting 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 10.1 assists a game this season, which are astonishing numbers.
When the season began, most people didn’t think Jokic had a shot at winning MVP simply because he claimed the trophy for the last two seasons.
Only three other players in NBA history have won MVP three years in a row so it’s an extremely rare feat.
But if anyone is going to do it, it’ll be Jokic.
