The Los Angeles Lakers have a new star.
Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison gift-wrapped Luka Doncic just for them, and he’s now expected to lead the franchise into a new era.
That’s why it didn’t take long before the streets showed him some love.
As pointed out on X, urban artist Artoon Art has already painted a mural featuring Doncic and Kobe Bryant.

The mural shows a viral encounter between the two stars shortly after Bryant’s retirement.
The Lakers have had a plethora of superstars play for them.
They haven’t had one in their prime since Kobe, at least as their main figure, since Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis weren’t the primary scorers or faces of the team when they were there.
The 25-year-old will now be tasked with carrying Bryant’s torch, something not even LeBron James has been able to do since he arrived in Southern California.
Other than that championship in the bubble, the Lakers haven’t been a championship contender under James’ tutelage, even missing the playoffs altogether.
Now, they have someone to build their project around for years to come.
His presence there might even help LeBron extend his career for a little longer.
All things considered, this trade will be one of the most talked-about in sports history.
